The 2018 Bruce Lynton Charity Ball was held on Saturday 2nd June at RACV Royal Pines Resort, which marked 18 years since the event’s original inception back in 2001. The Bruce Lynton Charity Ball was founded by Beric Lynton, Dealer Principal of Bruce Lynton Automotive Group and son of Bruce Lynton, and the event remains a highlight on the Gold Coast's social calendar, not only attracting local guests but also guests from all over Australia. Over this time more than $2.19 million dollars has been raised for local charities.

Bruce Lynton Automotive Group is delighted to announce that $168,650 has been raised this year alone for beneficiaries Cancer Council Queensland, Guide Dogs Queensland, Youngcare, Men Of Business, 4 ASD Kids and Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation.

Beric Lynton commented, "It is truly incredible to witness the overwhelming support we receive each year from our local community in making this event so successful. And this year was no different. Whether it's through the purchase of a few tickets or a full table, through the donation of a silent or grand auction item, or through the donation of a raffle prize, or to an even higher degree through sponsorship, I cannot express enough just how grateful we are. And I don't speak just for myself but on behalf of all six of our beneficiaries. Without the help of the local community these worthy causes would cease to exist. It's truly remarkable how if we all band together and do our bit, we really can make a difference in people's lives."

In addition to the Charity Ball, Bruce Lynton Automotive Group hosted a Charity Golf Day at RACV Royal Pines Resort on Friday 1st June, which also filled to capacity yet again with local business owners and executives. The day included 18 holes of golf, a light lunch, evening canapés, a raffle and fantastic prizes.
